IN THE GARDEN, EDUCATION IS A DISCOVERY

ORGANIZE YOUR SCHOOL OUTING TO BALATA GARDEN

Immerse your students in the heart of Martinique's nature with a field trip to the Jardin de Balata! Discover a botanical paradise where trees and flowers flourish in an enchanting setting. Explore shady paths, meet unique plant species and take part in captivating educational activities. Give your students an unforgettable experience that will stimulate their curiosity and love for the unique nature of their island!

A biodiversity that is the envy of the world!

With its hundreds of beautiful species and botanical areas designed by a master in the field, the Jardin de Balata is the ideal place to raise children's awareness of biodiversity issues, and to awaken in them a special sensitivity to nature. Learn while you marvel - that's the promise of the No. 1 garden in the West Indies!

A source of inspiration for children

Why are there thorns on the trunk of a cheese tree? What do hummingbirds eat? Why doesn't a porcelain rose smell? What is the purpose of the water that stagnates in the plumes of bromeliads? These are just some of the questions you'll be able to answer in pictures at Jardin de Balata!

How about a walk in the trees?

The Garden offers an exceptional opportunity (for children aged 8 and over) to walk in complete safety at the top of the hundred-year-old mahoganies! It's a chance to discover nature from above, and the special vegetation of the canopy!
